From the beginning on, this project has been under the patronage of the Bavarian State Ministry for Nutrition, Agriculture and Forests (Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Forsten) – we share similar ideas and approaches concerning the future field nutrition.
Our Patron: Eckart Witzigmann
Top chef Eckart Witzigmann carries the honorary title „chef of the century”, which has yet only been given four times by Gault Millaut. With this award he is the only “not-french” among the most popular and greatest chefs alive, Paul Bocuse, Joël Robuchon und Frédy Girardet.
Born in Austria, he worked in the worldwide best-renowned restaurants. After 13 years, he made his way to Bavaria to initiate the revolution of German meals together with the Munich restaurant “Tantris”, which was continued in the “Aubergine”. He has significantly formed the German gastronomy and is warmly called “mother of all chefs” by his trainees.
After more than 40 years in front oft he stove, he is now active as an author, consultant and organizer of exquisite gastronomic projects. As a WHITE PLATE patron, he is sharing his experiences and know-how with us, and is engaged in projects for sustainable food, culinary delight and lifestyle.
